HHW was established in 1982 and today, we continue to build on our enviable reputation for providing excellent advice and first class service to our business and personal clients alike. We have many clients in the local community and service businesses, small and large, across many sectors including.

Our Team

John Hines BSc FCCA ACA Director johnhines@h-h-w.co.uk John qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1977 with the Norwich Office of KPMG. For the past 27 years he has been a practising partner/director specialising in advising owner managed businesses, partnerships including GP practices, consultants, farm & agricultural concerns, general & manufacturing businesses, shops & service companies. In particular he is interested in business start-ups, tax & wealth planning and business succession issues. Advising partnerships, GP practices and charities are of particular interest.

Sara Harvey FCCA Director saraharvey@h-h-w.co.uk Sara entered accountancy in 1977, spending six years with the international firm of KPMG at its Norwich office. After a career break she returned to general practice, concentrating on owner managed businesses and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1991. Sara has a broad range of accounting, tax and information technology skills and particularly enjoys involvement with new businesses. She has specialist knowledge of Solicitors' Accounts Rules and the requirements of The Financial Services Authority. In 1999 Sara was President of the Norwich branch of the ACCA and is now a member of the ACCA Executive Council.

Andrew Fryer Associate andrewfryer@h-h-w.co.uk Andrew brings to the practice thirty years of experience in accounting, tax and business advisory services. Andrew mainly deals with owner managed business from sole traders through to large partnerships and limited companies. He has particular interest in Doctors' accounts and Charities and is a trustee of a large locally based charity. Andrew is married with two teenage sons. In his spare time Andrew enjoys playing football and golf.

Stephen Pease BA (Hons), FCCA Director Born and educated in Norwich, Stephen attended the University of Teesside where he obtained an honours degree in Business Studies. Stephen has over 13 years experience in public practice and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2002. He is primarily involved in advising owner-managed businesses on a wide variety of accounting , tax and general business matters and has specialist knowledge of the accounting requirements of the Financial Services Authority. Stephen is married with two children and his leisure interests include cricket and football.

Esther Fleming BSc (Hons) FCCA Assistant Manager estherfleming@h-h-w.co.uk Esther entered the accountancy profession in 1996 and over the past thirteen years has gained knowledge for a variety of businesses ranging from self employed individuals to limited companies. She qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2001 and also holds an honours degree in Applied Accounting. Esther assists our clients with their accounts and tax obligations and is particularly interested in computerised accounting systems.

Debi Harvey debiharvey@h-h-w.co.uk As well as secretarial and administrative duties, Debi keeps an eye on all our Microsoft and computer based processing. These duties include data base integrity; web-site and desktop publishing. If you have any comments on this site please let her know.

Becky Ross BSC (Hons) ACCA beckyross@h-h-w.co.uk Becky joined us in 2003 after completing her degree in Business Finance and Economics at the University of East Anglia. Since then she has completed the ACCA professional exams and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in July 2009. During this time Becky has gained knowledge in accounts preparation, taxation and audit for a wide range of businesses.

Chris Yaxley FCCA chrisyaxley@h-h-w.co.uk Chris' career commenced in 1999 with a local firm of accountants in Norwich. During his six years in corporate services and audit, Chris qualified as an Accountant Technician in 2001 and a Charted Certified Accountant in 2004. After three years in corporate finance, Chris joined Hines Harvey Woods in January 2009 shortly before being granted his fellowship from the ACCA.

Sue Genery Sue joined us in 2007 and heads up the payroll department. Sue is currently part way through her professional AAT studies.

Christopher Keeley Christopher joined us in 2005 and is currently part way through his professional ACCA studies.

Sarah Boram Sarah joined us in 2007. She assists with clients' accounts and payroll services, along with reception duties.

Raphael Wilkinson Raphael joined us in 2008 and is currently part way though his professional ACCA studies.
